We participate with Medicare, Railroad Medicare, Medicare-replacement policies, BlueCross/BlueShield, Allegiance, EBMS, Health InfoNet (MUST patients only), and New West.
We will file any out-of-state BlueCross/BlueShield claim if the subscriber’s ID# begins with a three-letter prefix. We will also file any secondary insurance with Medicare if your insurance does not automatically crossover from Medicare. For all the above insurance plans we ask the patient to pay any deductible, co-insurance, or co-pay at the time of service. For all other patients not covered by the above 6 insurance plans, we request payment at the time of service.
For patients with any other insurance, a form will be provided at check out which can be mailed to their insurance company for reimbursement.
Patients with Tricare (Military Health Insurance) are required to pay at the time of service since we do not participate with Tricare. However, we will file your claim with Tricare. Once the explanation of benefits is received by our office (either directly from Tricare or from the patient), we will make the required adjustment and issue a refund check to the account holder of the patient's account.. The adjustment will be the difference between our charge and 115% of the Tricare allowed amount.
